Breathwork with Ella

What Is Breathwork?

The breath is a powerful tool that can shift your energetics, create space to integrate what feels disconnected, and delve into deeper emotional layers. Through connected breath, we can often drop out of the mind, into the body and allow space to process, release, heighten awareness and mental clarity.

In a breathwork class, you will be guided through a blend of Pranayama (yogic breath), circular, and coherent breathing, assisted by music, sound, and even gentle movement. The practice is tailored to your own body and intuition, with variations offered for pace and intensity. You have full autonomy to take the practice wherever you need.

Please note: Connected breathwork is a safe yet sometimes intense practice and is therefore recommended for those who are age 18+.

The most intense mouth breathing is contraindicated in pregnancy and the following medical conditions: severe psychiatric, active PTSD, severe osteoporosis, epilepsy, heart conditions or arrhythmia, pre-existing lung conditions including severe asthma or COPD, recent major surgery, history of detached retina, glaucoma, untreated high or very low blood pressure.

If any of the above apply, please make the teacher aware at the start of the class and reach out if you have any queries – it is usually possible to modify to a softer nasal breathe. By signing up you confirm that you have read and understood the above information.
