What is IMD Breathwork
IMD stands for Immersive Multidimensional Breathwork. During the journeys, participants use headphones and eye masks to create a deeply immersive experience. Each session lasts around two hours in total, including an introduction where I explain what attendees may experience physically and emotionally throughout the journey.
The sessions combine a specific style of breathwork with digital sound healing, binaural frequencies, subliminal messaging, and guided coaching voice work. Together, these elements create incredibly powerful physical and emotional shifts for participants.
IMD is built on three science-backed pillars designed to trigger a safe, intense psychological and physical reset:
Pillar 1: Autonomic Nervous System Regulation
By using a conscious connected breathing pattern (fast, continuous breathing without pauses), you intentionally shift the carbon dioxide and oxygen balance in your body. This temporarily dials down activity in the prefrontal cortex—the logical, overthinking part of your brain—and activates the limbic system, where emotional memories and trauma are stored.
Pillar 2: Immersive Soundscapes & Brainwave Entrainment
During a session, you wear headphones and an eye mask. The audio is specially engineered with binaural beats, specific frequencies, and verbal guidance to usher your brain into a theta state. This is the deeply relaxed state associated with dreaming, meditation, and high neuroplasticity (the brain’s ability to reorganize itself).
Pillar 3: Somatic Release
Instead of talking through your problems, IMD targets where tension is physically held in the body. Facilitators support participants as their bodies naturally release trapped energy, which can manifest as physical tingling, temperature shifts, shaking, or emotional releases like crying, screaming, or sudden laughter.
Safety Note: Because active breathwork significantly changes your blood chemistry, heart rate, and blood pressure, it is not recommended for individuals with cardiovascular issues, severe asthma, epilepsy, glaucoma, active PTSD, or those who are pregnant. Always consult a doctor or a certified facilitator before trying it if you have pre-existing health conditions
